The 2025 Yukon is designed to make towing effortless, featuring a range of advanced trailering technologies. With a towing capacity of up to 8,400 lbs., it offers several cutting-edge tools to enhance your trailering experience:
- Blind Zone Steering Assist: This system alerts drivers and can briefly steer the vehicle if it detects a potential collision with a moving vehicle in the extended side blind zone, which includes the length of the trailer.
- Transparent Trailer View: Using a tailgate-mounted camera along with an optional auxiliary camera on the back of a compatible trailer, this feature lets you see through the trailer, helping you spot objects or vehicles behind it.
- Trailer Reverse Trajectory: This tool adds guidelines to help you track the trailer’s path while reversing, making maneuvering easier.
- Trailer Tire Health: An upgrade to the Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring System, it includes leak detection, a tire life monitor, and over-speed warnings to ensure your trailer tires are in top condition.
- Jackknife Alert: This feature monitors the trailer’s position relative to the vehicle and warns the driver if a jackknife situation is imminent.
These technologies work together to provide a safer and more convenient towing experience with the 2025 Yukon.
The 2025 Yukon is packed with an impressive range of advanced technology, safety, and driver assistance features. One standout option is Night Vision, which boosts confidence when driving in low-light conditions. This system uses thermal detection to spot pedestrians and animals, alerting drivers through the head-up display and the driver information center.
The 2025 Yukon also comes with a comprehensive array of standard and available safety features, including:
- Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking
- Rear Cross Traffic Braking
- Side Bicyclist Alert

To make life easier, the Yukon offers a hands-free liftgate that automatically opens when it detects the key fob. Additionally, you can opt for Super Cruise, the industry’s first true hands-free advanced driver assistance system. This system will cover approximately 750,000 miles of roads in the U.S. and Canada by the end of 2025. Yukon owners with Super Cruise will also benefit from the industry’s first hands-free trailering technology.
