Moreover, all eHybrid versions will feature faster AC charging, and for the first time, fast DC charging will be standard. Moving forward, plug-in hybrid systems will be exclusively offered in tandem with automatic transmission (DSG). The gear shifting mechanism, similar to Volkswagen ID. models and the new Passat, will transition to a steering column switch on the right side of the steering wheel, simplifying operation.
