Lynk & Co GT Concept: China’s 2-Second Supercar Stuns the Auto World

Chinese automaker Lynk & Co has unveiled a striking new supercar concept at the Beijing Auto Show, and it’s already turning heads. Called the GT Concept, this bold prototype marks the brand’s 10th anniversary while offering a glimpse into its future design and engineering direction. With grand tourer proportions—188.2 inches long, 78.7 inches wide, and just 52.4 inches tall—the car sits low and wide, reinforced by a 108.3-inch wheelbase that gives it a muscular, planted stance.
The GT’s exterior is designed to captivate from every angle. Its light-reactive surfaces shift in appearance as you move around it, highlighted by an eye-catching Apex Blue finish with a liquid-metal effect. Spark Yellow accents add contrast, emphasizing the car’s sharp lines and futuristic identity.

Inside, the concept features a 2+2 seating layout that blends luxury with motorsport-inspired materials. White “Digital Shimmer” leather creates a clean, high-tech atmosphere, while hand-finished Textreme 360 carbon fiber adds a performance-focused edge. A standout feature is the “+” button on the center console—activating it transforms the car’s behavior. The suspension lowers by 0.6 inches, aerodynamic elements extend, and a rear wing deploys to boost downforce, effectively reshaping the car for more aggressive driving.
Under the surface, the GT Concept is built on a race-influenced chassis and features rear-wheel drive, supported by an advanced AI-based motion control system. Performance is a key highlight, with a claimed 0–62 mph time of around two seconds—placing it firmly in hypercar territory.

Developed through collaboration between Lynk & Co’s European and Chinese teams, the concept also reflects strong Swedish design influences, a core part of the brand’s identity. Input from a global community of over 1.7 million users helped shape the project, raising the possibility that this dramatic concept could eventually evolve into a production model.

Whether or not it reaches showrooms, the GT Concept signals an exciting future for Lynk & Co—one defined by bold design, cutting-edge technology, and serious performance ambitions.
